Pianist/Composer Belpiano has started a series of World's Lullabies arranged and played on the piano.
Each album contains 4 lullabies. (3 lullabies from various countries+1 lullaby arranged from classical composer's work.)

Requiem for Haegum

Haegum is a korean traditional instrument. (Sometimes written also Haeguem)
Having only 2 strings (made by silk) and small wooden body, however, this instrument can make various expressions and sound colors. Like listening to a human voice of talking, crying, laughing, whispering...sounds emotional, touching but soothing at the same time.

Here is the album "Requiem for Haegum" by HyeLyung Cho, one of the top haegum players.
