Tango De Carmen by Ga Young

One of the most active violist in korea,  Ga Young transformes the well known opera Carmen into the rhythm of Tango!

Educated in Mannes School of Music in New York, Ga Young is currently the principal viola player of Busan Philharmonic Orchestra in Busan, Korea.
While playing in the orchestra and chamber music with numerous renowned musicians all over the world, she takes a totally different challenge, playing tango music with jazz guitar and piano.
Tango De Carmen was  nominated as 2012 Korean Music Award’s this year’s crossover album.
